The little chime that could. The Aloha is a Diva, playing a different, brilliant symphony with every breeze. The bell tone is top shelf and a pleasure, morning, noon or night, wisp or gale. If windchimes were waves, the Aloha would be a glassy overhead roller that went on forever. I picture the 4 Winds armwrestling to see which one gets to make her sing next. She blocks out garbage truck noise, screamin neighbors, crazed dogs, carpenters, bad radio and most internal static. Put a six pack on my grave and an Aloha above my tombstone and I’ll check out today.

    A 5 Ding machine.

These chimes have a great sound. But what I really like about them is that they look great too. I was in search of “black” windchimes for some time. I was thrilled when I found these. I first ordered them in purple, and now I have ordered them in black. They make a terrific gift as well. Highly recommended!

I ordered this chime for Fathers Day for my husband who loves the sound of wooden chimes (but really dislikes the sound of metal chimes). I guess I didn’t read the description well enough, because I thought the chimes themselves were made of bamboo as well as the outer cover (there was so much attention given to the bamboo on the chime). I was excited to find this chime on Amazon because it’s been difficult to find wooden chimes that are also visually appealing. However, I was disappointed to find that the chimes are metal. While the tone of the chimes IS beautiful, I’m not sure it is worth the hefty pricetag. I wish I had read the description more carefully!

Chimes are great looking with the bamboo around the metal chimes inside. But the bamboo surrounding the chimes also cuts down on the wind that can hit the chimes, so you get a lot less sound. So if you buy it, be sure you have a lot of stronger winds blowing.

I am very pleased w/this chime. The color almost looks brown v. a purple and it chimes easily with the softest breeze.
